Abu Dhabi Gentlemen’s Cricket Club was founded in 2014 as an amateur association open to all those who love the game of cricket. Drawn from a diverse set of international residents of Abu Dhabi, the club is made up of members from almost every cricketing nation big and small, including Australia, England, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa,
Sri Lanka and the West Indies.
ADGCC prides itself on being as much a social club as a competitive team. We welcome cricket enthusiasts of all levels and boast some excellent talent, who love to win, but above all love playing the game. Our playing season runs from October to April and we play friendly games against a variety of amateur sides mostly based in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
ADGCC has historically played most of its games at Emirates Palace Cricket Ground, but this season, thanks to an agreement with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, we are moving our home base to Sheikh Zayed Stadium nursery grounds, allowing the club to extend its competitive reach. This is a mark of the growing maturity of the club and our ambitions to play high quality cricket matches on a professional batting surface.
